Thats awful. I cant imagine. Respect to you for keeping it together for the sake of your loved ones.

My problems pale in comparison to that.

Write down 5 things you are thankful for everyday for next 2 weeks.
Go do something to help somebody out

Prayers to help you get through this time. It is normal to go through rough patches. Hang in there.

You play an instrument? If so, you should have it out now. What about writing--you do any? Diary, poems, songs, anything?

I write songs and I've found this exercise to be extraordinarily liberating, especially during times of crisis and depression.

Think of some creative outlet, a means of self-expression, that's my suggestion.

Hang in there and good luck.

That's what I'm doing at the moment. I feel like shite and I'm playing and writing my way out of it.

Get your guitar out, dude. The thing is--and you probably know this already--once you get into the creative process, you become so absorbed in crafting the expression--lyrics, music, etc.--that everything else fades into the background--including your troubles.

I'ma come out of my funk with a couple new songs, stuff I can feel good about, stuff that I created. That's a very cool mental lift.

You play, you can do the same thing.

Best of luck ...
