Lol. What? If anything, I'd say they are generally more knowledgeable people who have done alot of research to come to their opinions, right or wrong.

It's probably that the people who are willing to admit to being atheists are the types of people who don't care very much about public perception and lead that kind of lifestyle.
The happy well to do atheists just never say anything, sometimes attend church, when necessary, and go along with their merry lives. No use in rocking the boat.

What the frick is a "non-atheist" other than a "theist"... Does this statement include "agnostics"?
Is there any philosophical argument here? Something like Pascal's Wager?
C'mon man!

Wacko religious people who actually believe in gods & little fairies up in the sky live their life in a trance-like state. They don't actually live a real life, they just go through the motions....so of course they will live longer. They're basically in zombie-mode, a religious self-induced type coma. Bitches can live forever when they're in a coma.
And I'll ask again in this religious thread. Why are certain religion threads allowed, but not others?

So which is the smart party, here? Is it the atheists, who live short, selfish, stunted little lives
Looks like a pretty objective study.

My father always told me that the bitter die before there time. Not surprising at all.

Yeah, it may have actually been a decent article if not for the obvious bias.

A survey done by the Heritage foundation, lol no bias there

Doing "research" does not equate to being smart. They mostly just parrot a bunch of BS from some obscure aethiest author they read that "disproves" the existence of God then walk away with a smug smile to go drink their pumpkin spice latte.

That bolded part tells me all I need to know about the study possibly having a bad bias one way or the other.

I can dig that. Side note- I miss you and Max going at it in the RB circa 2008-09

2009 a team of Harvard psychologists discovered that believers who checked into hospital with broken hips reported less depression, had shorter hospital stays, and could hobble further when they left hospital – as compared to their similarly crippled but heathen fellow-sufferers.

When did it become an atheists job to "disprove" the existence of God?
Posted on 12/24/14 at 2:41 pm to Sampson
Sampson, I'd like to see your research on your god. Have you met him/her? pics? anything?
Oh yeah its faith, just like little kids with Santa.

So parroting unfounded text from unknown authors that began the existence of God is somehow better?

It isn't but they sure act like it is. Always have an agenda with everything

I BS with Him just like a BS with people on here. No research or pics. He's a Bro
