I couldn't help but re-listen to cam speak st the QB lunch (as rarely as he does speak to public) about the LSU Offense and he basically said this was the coming out party of the Leonard Fournette show.

Now I am wth 95% of the fan base calling for Brandon Harris to start, but I don't think it matters because this is Leonard's team and it will be for the next 2 years

Most likely not. We'll still have "pretty good" QB play by Miles' standards. Jennings will still put up like a 5 QBR and Miles will say he only missed 2 throws.

Yes it matters. Leonard would have had more of a coming out party this year if the box wasn't stacked the vast majority of the time.

if hawkins and alexander leave, the run blocking will drop off imo. fournette's second year of acclimation and maturity could help offset that, however, when we play the big boys, theyll stack the box and we'll need more than throwing to Dural in triple coverage. ive never coached, so thats just an educated guess by an uneducated fan.

It only matters if you want to win championships.

Do you really want to win a national championship???

Because we will need a more than capable QB to produce in big time games next year

See, I don't think the qb is going to matter next year either...not because of Fournette, but because I'm not sure anyone is going to score on that defense

It's the most important position on the football field. Of course it matters.

If Harris isn't the starter, then I won't know what to think.

If we don't want to win championships then we can run another year of smash mouth pound and ground football. Beat the teams that we clearly have more talent than and lose to the teams with equal or better talent. If we want more than that we need to crank up some sort of a passing game combined with a more diverse running attack.

I agree. Personally, I wish we ran an offense more like Jimbo's at FSU.

Even if Jennings starts and the offense looks like it did this past year BUT we win more, I think it has an effect on recruiting.
