I'm getting down Friday too. Buddy is coming down til Saturday. I'm gonna call Da Hammer tmrw.

I will be there with bells on, however Hammer doesn't have a spot for me to hunt with him in his boat so someone is going to have to let me tag along for hunts. If not I'll be there for the party.

I don't have a surface drive. I am bring a deep v center console. Guess I will have to catch a ride to the ponds from someone else

Guys I'll get in touch the day after Christmas unless yall want me to tomorrow? A few details. The plan is to get to Venice marina around 12. Head to the camp ground by swansons ditch. Drop all the gear off and then scout around and find places to hunt that evening. In my group we have atleast two big flat boats and probably tow my 14' flat with a go devil behind and prob another surface drive. King, we prob have boat room for you. Each group is responsible for camping gear, beer, some food, hunting gear etc. We can all shoot the shite, split up hunting parties, etc. I plan on bringing a big pot of gumbo down for everyone. We can do potluck meals. Extra stuff we can sort out is extra ice, firewood, fuel, etc.

I will let you know if my buddy cancels who has a surface drive and dog. You can ride with me, I have to pick another buddy up on Saturday around 1
