Drinking coffee while waiting on Little Dong 1 to awaken so we can head out for a little squirrel hunt. No rush this morning due to thick fog.

In box stand on food plot for a quick hunt with little pt. 55 degrees and thick fog/mist. Expectations are low.

Water came up in the woods since last time I was here. Sitting on a little ridge.

Heading to alabama to try for some more meat this week. Handled all my Christmas duties early and my kids are grown. Wife has cooked gumbo,spaghetti, and beef soup and froze for the week. Will be gone till Sunday and looking for 4-5 does so I can concentrate on bucks January and February. Good luck to all and be safe.

working this week through Sunday. but will be 9 days in the woods next week. Started seeing some sign that they are turning on this past weekend.

Missed a nice little 6pt about an hour ago. Easy 25yd shot and I hit the 1 limb probably the diameter of my pinky between me and the deer. The arrow dove down and went to the fletchings in a log

It's quit raining here, hopefully something will get up and move around this afternoon. Otherwise I'll just take a nice little nap in my stand.
