Walterfootball.com has 16 DE's being drafted ahead of Trey Flowers in their mock

That is laughable. They've slotted Flowers in the 3rd round to the Bills with pick #83.
I don't think it's crazy that he could end up a 3rd rounder but 16 DE's going ahead of him is silly. Flowers is going to destroy it at the combine. He's got Charles Haley type athleticism but without all the crazy. Flowers could also play 3 technique NT in situational downs.
If he drops below the 40th pick some team is getting a steal.

I hope he does slip so Dallas can draft him really late.
Same thing happened last year with Hitches, who I thought was a great college LB. Turned out to be a steal for us.

Walterfootball is generally pretty bad, but they are accurate on needs of teams and a good gauge of current draft stock for players once the draft gets pretty close.
This far ahead of time, its hard for anyone to get more than the first couple picks right.

He'll kill it at the combine with that 55 inch box jump.
One thing you can't measure with just stats is it seems like almost every one of his 5 sacks came in a crucial 3rd down or in a situation where we needed one badly. Dude is clutch.

Its as good a time as any. I like looking at draft boards to see who may go where, and from what schools. Helps me to look out for certain players in the bowl games.

He has 19 LBs ahead of Martrell Spaight too which I thought was a lot for the SEC's leading tackler.
