Youre a male. You shouldnt be gullible enough to fall for cheap shite just because it's trendy like women do. Michael Kors anything, Beats by Dre headphones, etc are overpriced pieces of shite that smart people dont buy. By all means though, knock yourself out.

Citizen EcoDrive is nice. I wear a Fossil watch almost everyday though, it's not flashy but looks sharp

Fossil also makes watches for brands such as Adidas, Emporio Armani, Karl Lagerfeld, Michael Kors, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Burberry, DKNY, Diesel and Armani Exchange.

Do you also wear you wife's clothes?

Save up your money for a Hamilton. It will be a quality entry into a possible obsession.

The fact you even ask that question says so much about you. Get a rolex and be done.

No way. I cringe when I see guys wearing those.

Why are you so caught up on gender identity !?!?!? Damn white people and their racism and patriarchal gender roles.

This is incorrect. Fossil is the licensee of MK for watches. Fossil does not own MK but they do have licensee / licensor relationships with many designers. Fossil makes the watch and markets it under the guidance of the licensor.

Add Tory Burch, Burberry, and Michelle to the list of licensors For Fossil. There are a lot of companies across the price spectrum. Your post covered most of them though

As someone who collects watches and actually owns a Michael Kors watch, I've got to vote against getting one. The MK watch I own is literally the only MK watch I'd wear. It's got a brown leather band, silver casing and cream dial. When I bought it, I knew it wasn't a great movement. I knew the quality wasn't there. What I did know is that it was a damn fine looking watch.
So, if you're a serious watch guy, don't get one unless you fall in love with the look.
For what it's worth, despite it being one of the most inexpensive in my collection, I actually get more comments on that watch than any other watch I own (and I own 14). However, I also wear it the most because I don't care about beating it up.
If you aren't looking to spend thousands on it, take the watch at face value. If you like the way it looks, you'll probably be happy with it for a while.

I recently held a MK watch, it was by far one of the cheapest feeling watches I have felt. It felt like it was going to fall apart in my hands.
I would go with the Citizen watch. I have been debating on one myself, I am extremely rough on watches and never felt comfortable spending a lot on watches cause of how bad I treat them, but figured time to take a little bit of a step from my previous.
