Anyone else watch this?

8-part miniseries on Starz with BBC. I'm a sucker for the BBC dramas. But this seems very well done. I'm on episode 3.

It is the story of a kidnapped boy whose family was on holiday in France. The series picks up 7 or 8 years later. Recommend for some holiday break mini binge watching.

I am also on episode 3. I started a thread about it the night before it started and bumped it the day it started, it didn't get any reaction than either. I guess we are alone.

Can't watch kidnapped kids shite.
Not for the drama, not for the revenge.
Could be cathartic for people who've lived through this, but I was blessed not to.
Sell this to me in a different way.

Just finished the season last night... what a great series.

FYI - they have a second season in the works... different cast, but the same premise, obviously.. and continuing with the non-linear storyline..

They were available on the Starz app on my iPad... I didn't feel like waiting until 1/3 for the next episode, so after the regularly scheduled episode, we just motored on through...

I'm through 3 episodes, it's pretty good.

aren't there 8 episodes total? And w/o giving spoilers, is the mystery solved or do they pull a Killing on us?

just finished last night. Really creepy atmosphere, but it was very good. really hit me in the feels in that last episode. If you have kids it really hits close to home.

The wife was able to recover and move on. The last scene basically was just showing that Tony never recovered. The guilt and responsibility he felt for his sons death. He could never let it go. Thats why they stated that he had done that in several other cities. He was going all over and claiming other kids were his son. He had officially went off the reservation.

You could tell the wife could sense he would never recover. That's why at her wedding all she wanted to do was hang out with him. She knew deep down that his life was essentially over and he would never be ok.
