Which TV Series to Watch Next: Boardwalk Empire, Six Feet Under, Deadwood?

I'm new, in general, to watching TV series. But I have a lot of free time on my hands and I've discovered the abundance of shows available on Prime Instant Video. Trying to decide which series to watch next. It can pretty much be any series except The Sopranos, The Wire, Breaking Bad, or The Walking Dead (all of which I've seen at least once).

I was thinking maybe another HBO series, such as Boardwalk Empire, Six Feet Under, or Deadwood. Based on what little I know about the series, I think I'd find The Newsroom most interesting, but it's not available on Instant Video. I know the general premise of BE but not much else, and I don't know anything at all about Six Feet Under or Deadwood (except cocksucker).

Any and all recommendations are welcome! Including recs for shows other than the ones listed. TIA

Deadwood then wash it down with BE. Deadwood's abrupt end will leave a void that BE should fill.

I would go with Deadwood then Boardwalk Empire then Six Feet Under if I have to pick an order of what to watch next.

No matter what order you watch them in, I do highly recommend watching all of them at some point. HBO usually doesn't do wrong with their TV series.

If you end up liking Boardwalk, I'd recommend Peaky Blinders on Netflix/BBC. With access to HBO series, Rome definitely has to be on the list even as short as it was.

Deadwood. It's just 3 seasons but does have an abrupt ending. I loved it and Al Swearengen is one of my favorite all time characters.

Deadwood for sure. Have you seen East Bound and Down? First season is definitely worth watching.

BWE is IMO the superior show but Deadwood is no slouch and a much quicker watch.
