Big Fisherman had crawfish for $5.99 lb yesterday. Said they just had a huge price drop from $6.99. F Dat.

My dad sells them to markets/restaurants wholesale and they are selling them to the markets right now for $3.75/lb. Too high for me.

Yeah, my dad will start fishing soon as well and it would be insane to get $7/lb like that. I have a completely screwed up sense of what crawfish should cost because I know what we sell for and we can have it whenever we want to go raise the traps. Which is often

Paying for it just isn't something I've done.

I obviously prefer it to be cheap, but I think of going out for crawfish akin to going out for sushi. It is a treat and not a "normal" meal, so if it costs $60, I don't lose my shite

Some people will outright refuse though.

Huh?

Just because your dad is a crawfish farmer doesn't make it an everyday meal. I know you aren't eating crawfish every day.

You represent about 0.00001% of the crawfish eating population.

So now you're equating normal and daily. I don't eat sandwiches daily, so I guess that's not a normal meal, either. We boil every weekend for half the year, so at a minimum it's once a week. But continue to tell me what is and isn't special for me

Which is why I said I have no conception of what they cost retail, dummy. My 8th grade ESL kids read for comprehension better than you

How do you not have a concept of what they cost retail?

Even though I got "free" stuff from my dad's businesses, I still have a concept of what the things cost if I were a normal paying customer

But you subtle bragged about how crawfish is "normal" for you, and I know you have FB/Instagram and are aware that it is "special" for the majority of people. This is why I was saying I don't mind if it's $5/lb, though I'd rather it not be. It is like sushi: something that is somewhat of a treat.

The simple fact that crawfish is seasonal makes it so.

I think Yeezy should invite the whole FBD crew to his "farm". We'll bring the beer, he supplies the crawfish
