I doubt very much some rag tag blog called The Smoking Gun has gotten an interview with a witness.

The facts remain, the azz0 went for the officers gun, as the evidence shows.

Case closed.

Also wasted an opportunity to talk about police tactics.

Anyone who viewed Wilson as justified in this situation made the correct assessment. Brown WAS A THUG who DID COMMIT A STRONG ARM ROBBERY!

You are insinuating that white conservatives who sided with Wilson are racist........POINTING OUT FACTS DOES NOT MAKE ONE RACIST!

On your point regarding police tactics......as a LEO I can agree with you that there have been incidents that have raised a level of concern with me. BUT this was not one of them. Wilson's use of force was correct. Brown committed felonious assault upon Wilson. Wilson was DUTY BOUND to pursue Brown. Brown made the unfortunately idiotic decision to attempt to engage an armed LEO for the second time.

The morons who attempt to point out that Wilson should have not pursued Brown and waited for backup....are the same assholes that would have been screaming for Wilson's head if Brown would have escaped and committed another robbery that resulting in him severely wounding or killing someone. Wilson was RIGHT in pursuing Brown.

I'm with you on most of that post I wish you hadn't brought up trayvon

Trayvon was beating the shite out of Zimmerman I have no sympathy for him

However, I was enraged by the "I can't breathe" guy, the cops were harassing him over something stupid. Why they couldn't have just left him alone is beyond me

tf, that's where you misinterpret facts. Wilson's testimony was explicative regarding Brown's "threat". .His concern was for the safety of fellow officers soon to arrive, who might fall victim to Brown. Considering Brown's actions, it was a very valid concern. So once Brown fought Wilson for his gun, he remained a continual threat until he was rendered otherwise

The fact that you put so much credence in Wilson's testimony, especially his explanation for what was going on in his mind, means that you and I will never agree on this. I don't trust Wilson as far as I can throw him, nor do I trust Dorian Johnson (Brown's friend). IMO, Wilson and Johnson are the least credible witnesses of the who bunch, except witness #40, who wasn't really a witness, but a hoaxer.

Zimmerman was looking for trouble, as evidenced by his conversation with the 911 dispatcher. He made Martin for a criminal in the midst of a crime, stalked him and forced a confrontation. I have no sympathy for the racist POS.

Was there any physical evidence at the scene conflicting with his account?

Was what he described as "going on in his mind" not 100% consistent with standard police training?

That's fair, but you should trust the autopsy report.

I do, which is why I don't believe Wilson shot Brown in the back. The physical evidence is also why I believe Brown initiated the confrontation in the window of the police car. However, I also put a lot of stock in the account of the two White landscape workers who witnessed the shooting.

Is this one of them?
quote:

A landscape worker who lives in Jefferson County gave grand jurors one of the oddest accounts of the moments leading up to Brown’s death. The man had appeared in widely broadcast video in which he is wearing a pink shirt and gesturing to police that Brown’s hands were up.

The man said he encountered Brown that morning. He was trying to cut through some tree roots and cursing at the difficulties of the job. Brown told him that Jesus would help him with his anger problem.

A few minutes later, the man said, he heard gunshots. He looked up and saw Brown running. He said three officers were chasing Brown, but only one of them was shooting. Brown appeared to have been shot as he fled, the worker said. Then Brown turned around, put his hands up and started yelling “OK.”

“And within a couple of seconds the three officers came up, and one just pulled up and shot him,” the worker said. No other witness described three officers present at the shooting.

The fact that he made that call, verifies that he was NOT looking for trouble. He was even complying with the dispatcher's request when he was jumped by that thug pos Martin.

Zimmerman did nothing illegal that night. Martin did.
