Hail to Michigan guy. Your spot on about Miles being offered if JH declines.... But Miles has no intention to go to Michigan now because he wanted to be first choice and plus he alredy stated he isn't intrested in the Michigan job. I think by him staying that he knows already that JH is going to accept the job. But as I stated he wouldn't go anyway unles they pay him JH money because he has more skin on the wall then JH in the college game. Miles probaly already been told he want get 8 mill. Thus he told them to go look else where.

There's no reason to believe Harbaugh has been offered 8M per year for six years at this point. The only thing that makes sense is that Harbaugh's camp leaked the information to get all parties in motion.
Harbaugh isn't walking away from the pinnacle of his coaching career so close to his grasp to try to dig a dormant University of Michigan out of mediocrity. It isn't happening. I don't care what the sources say, it isn't happening. These shenanigans are going to top the 2014 Saban to Texas discussions whereby the school fails miserably and is still mediocre the following season.

Hackett is working the line for Les. Offer JH a huge amount knowing he won't say anything until the nfl makes a move, meanwhile Les sits back and waits. After JH makes a move, the ante for the job is already layed out so Les gets more than he would have if he was the number one target from the jump. :holyrunonsentencebatman:

Realistically, I think the real best case scenario for Miles to go to Michigan is if things play out just like they are. Michigan makes a big run at Harbaugh, and waiting for him ends up with his turning them down to stay in the NFL. In the mean time, Les has not officially been quoted as not taking the job. All of the crappy options (Addazzio, Butch Jones, Schiano) are disappearing and getting jobs/extensions. All the while, Hackett can start telling people, Les is the best available and they should jump on the chance. Michigan fans and big brass are more on board the Les train. He can finish the bowl game and then make his move. It works perfectly!

I think it's a riot that Michigan feels like it has a legit shot a coach a whole lot better than Addazio. You guys should just embrace your new position as Ohio State and Michigan State's bitch for at least the next decade.
