Les Miles is absolutely worth that offer. Absolutely.

You may think so.

Personally, I don't see it. Although, if they do make him an offer, I can see it being significantly higher than his current $4.3 mill. And when I say significantly higher, I'm thinking $1-1.5 million more.

Again, nobody pays as much for their second choice.

The record speaks for itself.

Les Miles deserves to be the highest paid coach in CFB.

The guy who deserves to be the highest paid coach in CFB IS the highest paid coach in CFB.

I don't necessarily like it any more than you do. But to suggest that Miles deserves to be paid more than Saban is just ludicrous.

Les Miles has done more at LSU in the last nine seasons and continually receives less credit than he deserves.

.8 winning percentage (better than Saban BTW) is remarkable in SECw.

He'd come to Michigan and win a title within three years.

Well, you're gonna need to pick another candidate, anyway. BC has locked up Addazio.

I don't think he's going anywhere.

My guess is they get stuck with Schiano.

9-3 followed by an 8-4 campaign do not merit a 1.75M dollar raise. I am not opposed to paying the coach 6M dollars a season, but not after what we have witnessed since 1-8-12.

I wouldn't mind seeing Miles leave but Id prefer it much sooner than NYE. We need time to find a good coach and have him build a staff.

I agree 1,000%. If he goes, it needs to be in 2014. I don't think he goes before the bowl game, however. He can resign this weekend and stay to coach the game, but I don't see that happening. He has too much class to make the game about him. It is for the players.

This is why I think he tells them an hour before the game that he is leaving and we kick the shite out of ND by 40 points. At least I hope so, as I will be in attendance.

It all started when they showed up in NOLA on the 8th. Nothing about the 9th of January went right. Nothing.

Therefore, the Waterloo actually started the night of the 8th.
