I'll be the first to admit my first visit there was awful. I've been two times since and both times have improved a lot. They still have a couple of fundamental flaws like inconsistent and usually just bad Tostadas. They should just move to regular chips to show more consistency. Also their beans and rice are on a fast food restaurant level. Carne asada taco was weak too.

But margaritas are great, and the grilled queso is one of the best appetizers I have had in my life. Service is top notch, and I loved the fish tacos. I also like ordering their pick 3 salsas. They give a generous amount and I take it home and use to make a bomb omelet in the morning. They have elite potential but right now I would rate at 3 1/2 stars. Will definitely be checking out their happy hour in the near future.

Here's a pic of the grilled queso which is a must try.

And their happy hour specials

$3 for tacos during Happy Hour seems a bit steep

Is this a chain? There's one in downtown Birmingham as well. I've only had overpriced drinks there.

Yeah regular price is $4 so it's not on a John Besh level HH. And BB this isn't a chain, locally owned & managed.

At that price I would think she might be closer to 2-2.50

What kind of tacos? Similar to Rum House?

Have to disagree about the margaritas. Everything is pre-made and sitting in big, plastic dispensers.

You can't request that a specific margarita be made for you to order, even something as simple as Cuervo and lime on the rocks. Pretty shocking considering the culture they're trying to cultivate.
