Does anyone have personal experience with this program? If yes, would you recommend it? Alternatives?

Alternative: Spend $60,000 to go to language school at a missionary training center in Tijuana?

In all seriousness, Rosetta Stone is the best program out there for that type of learning.

Rosetta Stone is the reason I passed Arabic 3 in college.

Sign up for their demo and wait. They'll drop the named price about $100 for you

I recommend Duolingo. It feels like a game and gives you goals.

I'm using duolingo now, for French. My 4 year old sits with me while I do it. She enjoys it too and is doing really well with it.

So what do you suggest?

I've use Pimsleur for Russian and I can carry on a basic conversation. That's only using the first set of cds.

Doesn't support Latin, though. :(
