It's a movie about mutant turtles who happen to be ninjas. Not sure what else you thought was gonna happen.

I don't see people calling the Transformesr films Spielberg movies because his name is attached to them.

Why is George Lucas not looked upon as a genius because his name is attached to the Indiana Jones films?

Agreed. I liked it for what it was, a nice blast from the past.

Ur right he's only the producer. I'm sure he didn't have any say at all in this film.

I'm sure some are more involved than others but it's incredibly easy for anyone to get a producing credit

How involved do you think Jennifer Lopez is with South Beach Tow?

I literally just watched and I loved it.

Michelangelo is the best. Raphael was still tough as nails.

I'm watching it right now. I had really low expectations so I am extremely pleased.

It was entertaining and fun to watch with the kids-more than I expected.

SPOILERS kinda!

It was just extremely repetitive...so many times someone would fall from like a 50 ft ledge/cliff and land on something hard with sharp edges but magically never get hurt or they land on something that wasn't there before.. And one scene it felt like a video game where ya wish u could just press the A button to continue the movie..seriously it was that long and ridiculous...Jumping and landing with literally no limitations. I kick myself for always expecting something else from these movies but I may have liked it a little had the action sequences been so outrageous.

I expected the over the top ridiculous action sequences because of the animated Turtles, and it was light years better than the old TMNT movies. Fox almost ruined it for me though. I can handle life sized turtles, but her acting killed me.

After reading all the negative going in, I didn't have high expectations either, but I enjoyed it. Just wish they wouldn't have changed the backstory so much. Also, didn't like that Shredder at one point looked like a transformer. But I did enjoy Splinter being much tougher than he was in the older movies.

This thread gives me deja vu.

Few people loved the old school TMNT shite more than me, and I even went into this movie with pretty low expectations..and I walked out mad that I wasted money to see it.

I chuckled at a couple of parts, but outside of that I thought it was pretty bad. I won't be getting the DVD, and I always get DVDs.

And FWIW, I thought the animated TMNT movie from a few years back was actually pretty solid.
