Would be a home run hire for UM. I would LOVE to see that smash mouth offensive attack at Michigan.

Constant amusement indeed that the alleged UM insider has the grammar aptitude of a kindergartner

Be nice, he went on the record that English is his third language. I'm thinking he's some asian math whiz at Mich.

If Harbaugh did, he is using them

This is clear to me. Harbaugh is using the job as leverage while Les sits in line and waits.

I don't think he's using them, but I think at the end of the day he's an NFL guy.

I actually think the 9ers are total idiots for running a guy off who's damn near had you in 3 straight Super Bowls. Winners are tough to find in the NFL.

I don't think it will happen, but would love to see Harbaugh on the sidelines in Chicago chewing Jay Cutler's arse. That visual would be awesome.

Well if Harbaugh gets there before nc game assuming that indeed does happen and if Ala wins NC will Saben get another raise to keep him the highest paid coach in college football? As this will establish the new norm for pay for the best coach's maybe whether it happens or not.

It is similar but I do think this one has way more bite to it.

Um, he can't exactly commit to Michigan right now or he will look bad for any future NFL gigs. Just has to say the right things for another nine days or so.

I'm not talking about committing to Michigan, I'm talking about the fact that he currently makes $5 million and UM is having to offer $8 million/year just so he'll consider. IMO, if the guy really wants the job he shouldn't need a $3 million raise.

The whole thing is really starting to reek of an ugly old rich guy who's desperate to get laid. So he highballs a price to a blue chip call girl who would probably frick him for a lower price if he weren't so ugly and desperate.

Saban is at $7.3 but he's pretty much alone up there in the college ranks. This would put Harbaugh ahead of even the NFL
Doesn't Sean Payton get 10M per?

@BruceFeldmanCFB: As I said on @FoxSports1 today, I was told by sources the reports on the $8M per offer by #Michigan to Jim Harbaugh are not accurate.
