Viola Davis is playing Amanda Waller. I think this movie will be a surprise hit.

I don't like it either. I think they could have done much worse, though. Everything else in the movie screams that it'll be good.

No doubt. And Viola Davis is a whole lot better than their supposed #1 choice to play Waller...Oprah.
But outside of Will Smith, I think they hit an absolute home run with the other casting decisions. I'm actually pretty psyched about this one.

I don't really get the Will Smith hate. He is actually a good actor.

Why are the Joker and Harley Quinn in this at all? I can't recall them ever being part of the Suicide Squad.

Actually Harley was part of the Suicide Squad in the New 52, and the Joker played a big part in that storyline.
