Idiot in Arkansas arrested for yelling "nazi" at police from his own yard.

Dude is pretty nutty but I don't understand how cops think this how government should behave.
The guy sees cops pulling over a girl and searching her car in the street in front of his house. He is recording it from his yard and yells "nazi!". The cops come up to him as he retreats to his garage. They demand his license and eventually the guy gives in. They run his info, then start looking at possible code violations (said his grass was too long). End result is they arrest/cuff the guy for disorderly conduct and "obstruction."

I do somewhat agree...however, the real moral of the story is that if you want to attract attention to yourself by being a smart dick, then don't complain when you get that attention...
kinda like a kid who acts up just for attention...then when that arse gets smacked, he is not so crazy about the attention any more...
likely the judge will just tell this guy to quit being an a-hole and let him off...

You do realize that those payments usually come from insurance policies that government departments have. So, yea the money is coming from taxpayers but in the form of the insurance premiums not the actual settlement.

Sure. But I used to expect police to be cognitively and emotionally capable of ignoring an idiot and possessing skills to filter out the unnecessary; only those at a similar level of the idiots should be significantly impacted by their words.
