.@FloydMayweather, don't be a boxing humbug. Let's give the fans the fight they want. They have waited long enough.
— Manny Pacquiao (@MannyPacquiao) December 16, 2014
"We are ready. Let's make it happen. May 2. Mayweather versus Manny Pacquiao. Let's do it," Mayweather said.
"He [Mayweather] has reached a dead end," the Filipino great told skysports.com. "He has nowhere to run but to fight me.
"I will try my best to make this a thrilling and entertaining fight, but I doubt if he's gonna engage me in a slugfest.
"You all know his fighting style. Most of his previous fights, if not all, induced us to sleep."

Floyd is scared. Floyd is going to offer Pacquiao something like 15 million and act like he wanted the fight to happen. He will fight Khan that weekend.

Floyd is going to whip him in 2014 just like he would have whipped him in 2008.

Can't say that I am shocked he wants to play ball when Pacquiao turns 36 years old.

Mayweather is a year older.

Damnit. You ruined it.

I was worried about Manny losing a step after he got knocked out, but he's right back on top his game right now. He's much more focused again and for this fight he will put every ounce of his focus to it imo. It will be great. I hope it happens. I'm excited about it again

Pacquiao has already been knocked out. Mayweather was afraid to fight Pacquiao before this when Pacquiao was in his prime. Now, if Mayweather wins then who cares. It has been done before.

Bob Arum vs Al Haymon
HBO vs Showtime
Pacquiao vs Mayweather
The chances of all six of those being satisfied to make a deal are 0.0000001
The ONLY thing that would make Mayweather push for this fight is the fact that Canelo wants to take the May 2 date away from Mayweather. Canelo and Cotto are rumored to be nearing a deal and Floyd will do whatever he can to keep that from happening on what he calls "Cinco de Mayweather". That's why he supposedly pitched an offer to Cotto for a rematch for the "middleweight" title.
It's not about money. Mayweather makes a guaranteed $32 million per fight on Showtime regardless of who he fights. The only one who wants a big name opponent is Showtime to prevent them from losing their arse on this contract with Floyd.

I would like to see it happen but think Floyd will keep blaming Bob Arum for the fight not happening.

This fight would be all Floyd. I could see Pac pulling out 3 or 4 rounds but the skill level isn't even close in this one.

Momma Pacquiao is really going to have to step her vexing up to pull this off.
