Assuming Trestman gets fired (Please), I think it would be a good fit. Maybe he can get Cutler to quit sucking. Former player their, I think the fanbase would be excited.

Him and cutler would mix like oil and water.

He wants full control, that's where Oakland comes in

Bears are way to cheap to hire him.

The best fit for the Bears is Rex Ryan but he won't get hired because the owners hate media whores

Cutler is a loser.....not in life....but in football. Cutler learned to lose at Vandy.....and he has managed to do that in the NFL. There is no doubt he has as much talent as any qb in the NFL, but he is a loser.

And yes, I think JH would be a good fit in Chicago.

He should've been fired during the middle of the Green Bay game.

Theyd have to fire Emery too. I dont see that happening. Im not so sure trest gets fired either. Phillips and the mccaskys are spineless, will defer to Emery to fix it fast. Emery is stubborn as hell and look for any "solution" that keeps him from admitting hiring trestman was a mistake, ala his handling of shea mcclellin.

Bears paid Jay Cutler $100 million...that's not cheap for a b- level QB. That's about $50 million more than they should have paid.

If they can't get rid of Cutler they are screwed. His shitty atitude is infecting that whole team.

I don't think Trestman should be fired. I'm probably the only one though.

Guy took over an aging dumpster fire of a team. He had good success year one and now it's all crashing down. He's a first time HC, I'd give him next year to get things going upwards and depending on that year, another on top.

I know it sounds silly in knee-jerk reaction world, but that's my opinion on it.

The biggest mistake was re-upping Cutler. But is that on GM or HC?

I think the Jets will offer him more than Chicago if he was to pass on Oakland.

FIFY He's not won anything. Not sure why teams pay that much for a sub par QB.

It's not Trestman fault they are this bad. But he has done nothing to inspire any sort of hope

Harbaugh would likely kill him. I mean that quite literally.

It's the defense that he took over that is an aging dumpster. That offense was awesome last year and they should be this year. The DC Mel Tucker is terrible. It was clear last year that he wasn't going to get it done.
Honestly I liked Trestman last year and thought he did some really creative stuff with the offense. Haven't really seen much of that this year and he's gotten way too pass happy despite his QB being turnover prone. At this point I think a change needs to be made. Things have just gotten too bad and I think he's lost the locker room. I saw quotes from Forte and Bushrod where they could have taken up for the coaches and they just didn't
