I'd take Avery right now under the condition we'd never hear him speak.

Gun to your head right now, Avery or Monty?

Monty! It really isn't close and I am strongly in the fire Monty camp.

Dumars traded Brandon Knight for Jennings then gave Smith a ridiculous contract to play sf which led the way for Monroe to walk.

Avery is a little too much of a dick to his point guards, but I don't think he's a bad coach. He might not have the demeanor to be a head guy.

He could really use some time on Pops bench.

Dumars needs to stay the frick away from Benson, though. That guy throughly fricked up Detroit twice. Pistons with Melo? At least 1 more title.

Hiring Avery is a lateral move at best but Dumars would ruin this franchise.

Well he's not the only coach who has lost to an 8 seed as a 1 seed.. mmm I wonder who the other coach is?

Avery is not a good coach but I understand why you would want a division rival to have him as a coach

He had some really talented mavericks teams. If he couldn't take them out of the 1st round then i don't see it happening here.

Not sure if you're on the Karl bandwagon but George Karl is king of the 1st round exit. His teams lost out in the 1st round in 9 of his last 10 seasons coaching.

Karl has coached like 30 seasons and been to playoffs 90% of the time or something ridiculous

His best team (in Seattle) was buzzed by the Bulls dynasty. Those denver teams never had the talent to win a title playing Melo ball

And the teams he had after Melo over achieved big time. look how they've fallen off without him.

If we either keep Monty or get Avery, and the mother fricking Kings get George Karl, I will seriously jump off a goddamn bridge.
