The flag in the article is not an ISIS flag. Perhaps he did demand one. Perhaps he just demanded a flag of the shihada. Maybe he is claiming to be ISIS, maybe he is just fricking crazy.

Notice he didn't ask for a Greenpeace flag...wonder why he associated his activities to ISIS.
Understand ISIS is a philosophy that absolutely wants Muslims around the world to do things exactly like this. It's not like they want everyone to call into ISIS, Inc and pre-register before going apeshit on the infidels.

Is the guy just insane or is he an ISIS affiliate working towards some greater objective? The initial premise was that the guy is an ISIS terrorist. Looks like that isn't the case, despite the fact that he displayed a generic flag of the shihada.
Not only do people just jump to the conclusion that every act of violence is somehow connected to international terrorism, the rarely follow up on the story past the initial headline. So if the initial headline is "ISIS gunman takes 20 hostages in Australian restaurant" that is the story everyone remembers regardless of the facts. Its pathetic.
This is why We have people who actually believe that 95% of the worlds terrorism is committed by Muslims...
I'm no Islam hugger, but people are going over the top with these delusional fantasies.
