16 year old girl and her horse both found dead in South Florida

Such a sad story, I can't even imagine what her family is going thru. Saw this on the local Miami news, as they had over 100 friends/classmates saddle-up and ride in her memory.

Not that it should matter but her name was Lucia Rodrigo. I doubt she's white.

Saw this a few times last week.

I think the horse had a broken neck. Not sure if they've done the necropsy yet but the horse either tripped and went down or had something like a heart attack and broke its neck.
