I'm wondering if things at Michigan are worse than they appear. It seems like the brass there can't get on the same page and their biggest concern is offering a coach, being turned down and being left with egg on their face. I would argue the division among the decision makers there is probably going to cost them a great hire...again. I know if I was a coach, I wouldn't be inclined to leave an institution where my bread is buttered to go somewhere I'd have to win over half of my bosses.
Everyday this process draws out for Michigan (again), my opinion shifts that while its clearly a historical power house, Michigan today just isn't that great of a job.

I read an article in the last couple of days that suggested the decision won't be made until close to January 1st. With the dead period in recruiting starting on the 15th and the ongoing NFL season Michigan can wait a while.
