Preferably near the WW2 museum. But not worried about a drive if it's great.

EKKO's. Don't judge based on the cover. It's in a gas station off Richmond near the galleria but the food there is good. Try it out for lunch if you're in the area. Not many places to sit a lot of their business is pickup and eat elsewhere.

Idk if it will be lunch or dinner. If lunch that place would be fine but not for dinner.

Yea, that Ekko's gas station is legit. The Greek potatoes there are great.

I wasn't aware we had a WW2 museum in Houston. Niko Niko's will be your best bet.

I'm guessing that you're talking about the Holocaust Museum? Alladin and Niko Nikos are pretty close.

Ekko is better, but frick driving in the galleria area on a Saturday.

Niko Niko is close to Holocaust Museum. Another spot that is recently new with a nice patio for today's weather is Byzantio

It's a bit out of the way, but if you're ever around the energy corridor, petit cafe has some good food. Their food, top to bottom, is really good. Even the rice, as simple as it seems, is great bc of the quality basmati he uses.

niko niko's is pretty overrated

I'd recommend Istanbul in Rice Village. It's actually Turkish but it's delicious.

Not sure if I am too late, but Alexander the Great near the Galleria is really good...some of the best Greek I have had. BTW, the Holocaust Museum is worth a visit...not on par with the one in DC, but very well done.

niko niko's is good food ... don't know how completely/authentically greek they are, but it's good food ... they're just too crowded on the weekend to bother ...

I went to the marketplace location. Was disappointed in that they they didn't have lamb kabobs at that location but it was a good gyro.

Niko Nikos
Phoenicia
Fadi's

The last two are generally Mediterranean and not Greek specific.

I did. I went to the marketplace location. Food was great but I was disappointed that they didn't have lamb at that location. I usually lookforward to the lamb kabob over rice dish but it was still good despite that.

Got the grape leaf wraps. First time I've tried that, I enjoyed it.
I got the souvlaki and beef gyro plate.
Got a side of hummus and liked it.
Couple of margaritas to top it off.

Ended up being a tad over $40 which I thought was worth it. Should have gone to the montross location and have had access to the full menu but I really liked it nevertheless.

Oh, they were playing Christmas vacation on a projector by the dog park so that was pretty cool. Had some drink at the bar across the street but I don't remember the name. It was nice.
