And after messing around with it for the better part of the day it really does seem too big. For those of you who have one, is there an adjustment period needed, or should I trade in for the regular 6? The screen is gorgeous though, I'll give it that.

Yeah pretty much.

I held both in my hand for about a minute and thought I'd give the larger one a trial run. None of my friends or family have the plus so I didn't really have any opinions on it.

I have the 6+ and love it. It did at times feel a tad large when I first got it, but that ended within 2 or 3 days. I was coming from the iPhone 4 and Lumia 1020 though, so it was a pretty big jump.

When I see my 6+ up next to a 4 or 5/5s now it looks crazy how small they are comparatively. I can't imagine going back to that screen size at the moment.

Eta: and as far as holding it, I kept it in a case the first few weeks I had it in case of accidental drop from acclimating to the size. I never did drop it and have since taken it out of the case. It really does feel great in the hand.

You get use to it. It's big at first if you are use to the small iPhones.

Thanks for the input. Yeah, I plan on giving it a week and I'll reevaluate.

I'm doing the same. Feels huge and I can't work it the same as my old one but when I look at my old iphone it looks so small and cant imagine going back.

I went from an HTC One (M7) to iPhone 6 +. Takes a slight adjustment, however I don't hold the phone to my ear. Yes, I am a Bluetooth user.

I have two cases. One my Shumuri that makes the phone very thin. However, the case is very slick and I don't use it. In fact, I'm trying to return it. The risk to reward ratio is not there with this case.

Have another case, made by Versus. This is my primary case. Adds bulk, but my grip is solid. Phone doesn't feel like it will fall out of my hand (yes, hand - don't need two hands).

Screen is gorgeous and battery life is very impressive. As a power user, I can get a full day and if I monitor my usage, I get can get 1.5 days without needing a charge.

eh, I'm 5'8" and have smallish hands and I LOVE mine. It took about 1 day for me to warm up to it after having the 5s.

Been having mine for about a month coming from a 5 and I love it. Will admit I had second thoughts a day or two in but the screen is amazing and two hand usage is more manageable

I've had mine almost 3 months now and out of the box I thought I had mad a mistake because it felt weird and awkward in my hand. After a day or two it felt natural and now when I pick up a regular iPhone it feels like a toy.

Words cannot express how much I love this big son of a bitch. You will too.

Give it a week and you adjust to the size. I love mine.

without a case, the 6+ is the perfect size. in the case, it is a little too big and bulky. i keep the case on it though because I'm ok giving up a little bit of ergonomic fit for peace of mind in case i drop it.

I gave the 6+ a trial run and was pretty convinced at the beginning I was going to return it for a 6. After day 3 there was no going back.

I got the black leather apple case. I don't think it adds too much size and feels real nice in my hands. Grippy on my fingers, but easily slides in my pocket.

Just got one and at first i was worried about the increase in size; however, i have big hands so I have already gotten over it.

After having one for the past 3 or 4 weeks, I can confirm that the 6+ is the perfect size.

Ok excellent.

Thank you all for the input.

It sounds like everyone pretty much concedes that initially it takes some getting used to, but after a few days you're good to go. And this screen is so goddamned gorgeous I hope that's how I'll feel. I also just ordered a case and I have a feeling once I put it in the case it will be much easier to handle. The rounded edges, while aesthetically very pleasing, slips out of my hand quite easily when trying to operate with one hand. I have a feeling a case might remedy that.
