ME: Any idea when the Drusilla store will open? Thanks - looking fwd to it opening.

Leblanc's: We are hoping to open in early March!!! We had to do a complete renovation: floors, roof, electrical, mechanical, etc. We can't wait!!!

ME: I am excited! I hope they serve a hot breakfast at this location!

I'm ready. Hopefully it's better than Calvin's.

I hope so too! I love Calvin's Chicken salad and location and that is it. I will be there a ton as it is on my kid's school route

I am ready. I miss the convenience of having a grocery store so close to my house.

Hi Nabor was gross but at least I could stop there and get some essentials quickly.

Leblanc's won't be gross. The Duplessis/Airline location is awesome.

I like Calandro's a lot, and just go to Calvin's for the chicken salad and pimento salad. Other than breakfast what will I like about Leblanc's? And yes, the Hi Nabor was very nasty.

It's huge with lots of fresh good fresh food. Grilled/bbq stuff, burritos, hot food tray, fresh sushi, great cheese selection, lots of wine and beer, organic produce, organic nuts, fresh and natural peanut butter dispenser (like whole foods, the machine makes the peanut butter right there), butcher on site, quality meat.. grass fed beef, etc etc.

All at reasonable prices and, for me, super conveniently located.

Sounds good...It's not really convenient for me, but I'll make a point to check them out.

I think the newest Leblanc's on Airline is the nicest and most well-rounded grocery in the metro. I'm sure this one will be the same format. It's most similar to the nicer Rouse's that I've been in.

(that said, the new Rouse's they are building may trump the current Leblanc's format)

Yes, but the new Rouses is going to be too far out Airline for me. I am not a fan of that area of town, but it is exploding with new business.

Please tell me they're re-doing the parking lot too.
