LSU’s assistant salary pool is $5.38 million, eclipsing Alabama’s $5.19 million, according to a list of rankings from USA Today. Auburn’s assistants make $4.64 million for third. Clemson and Oklahoma round out the top five.

quote:

LSU paid its assistants better than any school in the country in 2014, and the school is reportedly looking to bring the group back intact next season.

quote:

According to a report from Ross Dellenger of the Advocate (Baton Rouge, La.), LSU is working to extend five assistants whose contracts expire in March. The coaches set to expire are Frank Wilson (running backs/recruiting coordinator), Adam Henry (receivers), Steve Ensminger (tight ends), Corey Raymond (defensive backs) and Brick Haley (defensive line).

Horrible. I was coming here to post this.

Our staff is higher paid and less innovative than the entire SEC.

Ensminger is not a bad recruiter, but I really wonder how much of it is on him developing Tight Ends or if it's the offense that just doesn't utilize them. It blows my mind that all the young QBs we've had under Miles and none of them have used the TE as a safety net.

Wait, I'm the miserable when you are the one complaining about extending coaches, including Frank Wilson, who's contracts are expiring?

Wilson - running backs
Adam Henry - receivers
Ensminger - TE
Raymond - DB's
Haley - DL

Which ones should we let leave? Maybe Ensminger?

Newlywed, so that must have happened fast

It doesn't. He can't read.
