Sorry. He is stubborn. Facts are facts see. Welter. J J. A J. On and on
He will try and prove people wrong even to the point of losng

Again, I really think it's just terrible risk analysis.

Look at Welter. He's another great example. The argument FOR him was that he made fewer errors in positioning and knew the defense better.

OK. I'll buy that as something to consider.

BUT, you can't consider that without ALSO considering if the dude can actually make the play once in position or, if teams will simply choose to run right at the guy because he's hopeless?

Miles seems to be a BAD single variable thinker. I mean for example, yeah, you don't want your cornerback to screw up coverage schemes but if you replace the guy who occasionally screws up with a guy who can't cover anyone, that aint an improvement!!

You telling me he likes stubborn over another cool million in the bank? Maybe he knows his team's limtations more than us.

It's more like 3 more cool millions but your point is well taken.

This may be his total combined compensation including things like coaching shows endorsements, etc. but his salary from UA is not

He gets $6.95 in salary. Additional pay brings the total number to 7.1.

Miles has in his contract that if he wins the national title he has to become the highest paid coach in college football.

I agree he is stubborn aka hard headed. That's why I said.. even though he believes in his mind it's the right call that doesn't mean he's not stubborn.

His whole approach and philosophy now is not good. He plays games tight and to win in the 4th. He plays too scared to turn the ball over and even will save his best players for the 4th. He needs to open things up and reevaluate his approach.
