I dip Copenhagen and use the crest white strips. After two uses I could tell a huge difference.

They will make your teeth sensitive the day after.

Professional tooth whitening in a dentist's office can brighten your smile in as little as one visit, but it can cost hundreds of dollars

About ten years ago, I used some stuff from the dentist...

It was during my partying days....I kid you not, my teeth were so white...if standing near a blacklight, there was a chance your eyes could be damaged if you looked directly at them

They will make your teeth ache a lil (if you have sensitive teeth). I would take motrin before putting them on

You shouldnt need pain relief to whiten your teeth.

Paige, never heard of coconut oil for teeth whitening. Sounds like a pinterest trend.

Crest professional white strips. Order them on amazon or at your dentist. Use them once a year.

ETA: You can probably do them twice year. I just do them once a year to keep them as white as they can be. Your teeth will get sensitive, suck it up.

Update:
Broke, that shite is a freaking miracle worker.
Just after 1 use I noticed a huge difference.
Used the crest strips for a week, wasn't really worth it IMHO.

So, after you posted this, I said frick it and bought this stuff. Just finished my first use and my teeth went from kind of dark to practically a shade or two off of perfect white. No idea what's in this shite, but if it doesn't kill me I don't care. It's absolutely amazing.

Edit: This is the product I bought. LINK

People have varying degrees of sensitivity when then whiten their teeth. It depends upon how much exposed dentin you have and generally how sensitive they are to normal things like a cold drink etc.

When female patients ask if it hurts to bleach their teeth, I normally look at what shoes they are wearing. High heels = no it doesn't hurt.
Flats = you'll have some transient sensitivity.

Generally works in my practice.
