I do love smoked ham. Who don't? Have any of yall ever smoked several hams and then frozen them? Just wondering if I smoked several hams, sliced them, and then froze that ham in smaller packets, would it still be good to eat after you thaw em out? Does it ruin the texture? For some reason, I was just a little bit leary of thawin out and eatin cooked ham? Would be nice to have plenty of it ready in small packs to just take out and eat for sammiches, seasoning, etc.

freezing ham works jus fine...I pretty much freeze some ham, brisket, or smoked turkey after every holiday...

the key is to keep it from freezer burning before you use it...put it in zip loc bags and squeeze out as much air as you can...also, put as much liquid as you can in each bag...
