I just ordered My brother and myself one of these for Christmas. I currently don't know of anyone who has one and have never eaten anything that was cooked in one.

I was wondering if anyone has one and could tell me what they think about it and maybe something good to cook in one?

So you bought one just because the outdoor channel told you to?

I always thought they were just like a pressure cooker.

But it has Duck Commander on the side of it. Makes it a must have for all outdoorsmen for Christmas

I just checked them out on amazon. Apparently it's not even a pressure cooker, just a big arse thin aluminum pot. You could probably save yourself some money and go buy one of those turkey fryer rigs and a bone collector/duck commander/yeti sticker to put on the side.

Yeah they are suppose to steam food and good for making soups and low country broils. My brother lives in Mississippi and owns a big deer camp and they get crawfish alot so, I thought it would be a good present for him. Just wasn't sure if they are worth the money. But it seems like no one here knows. I will let y'all know I guess once I try it out.

I'd would return it for a Orion Cooker.

I would not do crawfish in one of those things, I would just use a crawfish pot. From what I read, not worth the money.

I have eaten food prepared in one. It was a chicken. It was ok, not as good as Walmart rotisserie chicken, but better than my mother-in-law's cooking.

If someone gave it to me as a gift, I'd say thank you and send that person a picture of me cooking in it.

If the someone who gave it to me was my brother, I'd send him a picture of me sitting on top of it, while cooking in a black pot.
