McDonald’s is really getting sensitive to accusations the quality of its food because it’s just put out its second video in recent weeks explaining to us how its meat-based food products are actually made from real meat. This time, McDonald’s takes us on a tour of a Tyson plant in Tennessee to reveal the magic behind its famous deep-fried meat globules.

“We’ve been asking consumers for their questions about McDonald’s food,” explains the McDonald’s tour guide at the start of the video. “And the No. 1 category, by far [is] Chicken McNuggets, specifically what’s in the Chicken McNuggets.”

McDonald’s goes on to explain that its chicken nuggets contain no “pink slime,” which is a nickname for the meat-based goo that has been banned for human consumption by the European Union. McDonald’s also wants to make sure you know that there are no beaks or feet in its nuggets and that the meat only comes from the chicken breasts, thighs and other parts of the chicken that people normally eat.

Forgive me, but I never use dimethylpolysiloxane or TBHQ when I cook at home, and my chicken tastes just fine, thank you very much.

Thanks for the pro nugget vid, but sorry, I'm still not eating anything with "Mc" in the name.

i enjoyed that

but i'm sure the internet naysayers will say this was all a publicity stunt and they really have a pink-slime machine chopping up chicken assholes & beaks to make nuggets.

I'm not really opinionated about either topic, and I'm certainly not judging about either...

But I didn't expect this response from a guy who is so vocal about societal pressure to get babies circumcised. I just figured people that hated circumcisions were also the people that hated McDonalds and corporate America in general.

Notice that no one touches the product from start to finish. I guarantee that most of your food at every causal to fine dinning restaurant gets handled (molested) with bare hands on a routine basis. Gourmet food is French for "I touched your food with my bare hands".

I use dimethicone when I make beer and it's also in Gas-X, which I am a frequent user of. Never heard or used TBHQ by itself, but it seems to be in a bunch of stuff.
