When have U witnesses said "elite" success at LSU?

I ask, because this is (despite Miles) the greatest stretch of success at LSU.....unfortunately, there is an opponent in the West; however, that coach ain't coming back.

Would you tell your kids to be happy that they're C or B students when you in your heart think/know they can make A's if they truly apply themselves?
Same concept & that's not how I feel (nor do a growing number of LSU fans)

Well, if only one student can receive an A, and my child competed directly against that student, I would remind him that if he wants to be the best, he has to beat the best.

But the fact that other SEC (west included) teams are succeeding during that time diminishes the "but we can't expect to cmpete with Saban" pumper narrative

Which teams? Over the past 7 years, besides LSU and Auburn, which teams have won the division? Have succeeded while LSU seemingly stood in one place?

glad to entertain you.

the decline is real & you guys just can't accept/dispute the facts as stated in the OP

Keep talking about surpassing Cholly, success is relative to who you measure against, who would do better, etc.

Your heads are still in the sand.

Do you know how many "terrible" teams in the top 25 aren't playing 13 games?

BCS games since Miles arrived
2005 UGA
2006 UF & LSU
2007 LSU & UGA
2008 UF & ALA
2009 ALA & UF
2010 AUB

National Champs in bold. All SEC Champs on left except in 2011 which LSU won the SEC.

Sounds like 2008 when the same usual suspects were saying les would never beat saban again lsu would never win another SEC title.

Please continue.

LSU, AU, ARK, MsSt, UF, UGA, bama

The facts are that over the past 7yrs there have been 14 BCS slots filled by SEC teams. LSU has earned ONE (bama has 5). So agreeing that we can't compete with bama, that's 1 out of 9.

Spin it any way you want but it's not just bama that's holding LSU back.

oh ok so SEC teams are now considered scrubs. Did we not play lesser SEC teams in the Charlie Mac era?

This thread was a huge disgrace Billy Ray.

Positgers pump, Negatigers come when we are down, but Rantards never die. Keep tard'n bro.

One BCS game over the past 7 seasons even though the SEC has sent 2 every one of those seasons.
(that means other SEC teams are succeeding along side the mighty bama)

besides bama

every other SEC team has had its hills and valleys. A few more peaked relatively high a time or two more than us, but for th most part we have avoided valleys as low as they have

there have been 5 SEC teams in the sugar bowl since 2007.
(0 in 2011)

2 have been bama
2 have been florida
1 Arkansas

so since 2007 (very convenient cut off year)

Alabama FLroida and Auburn have been to more BCS games

Bama is just consistently good

Florida and Auburn have had losing season

He's already trying to discredit Miles if he makes the playoffs.
