Inflate? Stats are stats and they show miles as not only top tier winningest coach in lsu history but also the SEC.

Unreal how awful some of yall can be. I can't imagine shitting on my team and program as much as you guys enjoy doing it.

I have my complaints and worries. I just don't post them. There's enough negativity in here from the rantards.

BUT....The lengths YOU go to to give him more credit he deserves is disturbing... You NEVER say ANYTHING negative even though you should is pathetic....

How about this -

1. Les has accomplished a lot at LSU and will likely go down as the greatest and most accomplished coach in our school's history
2. The current direction of the program is troubling, to say the least.
3. However, with some minor tweaks we can get back on the right path
4. Due to number 1, Les has earned the right to another year or two to get us back on the right path (he will get at least two more, like it or not)
5. If we don't see drastic improvement next year or lay another egg, his seat needs to really warm up and yet another disappointing season after that, he should GTFO.

See how one can look at both the good and bad and come to a logical conclusion? Can we please rid this board of the stupid "negatiger" "pumper" "posi-tiger" terms? They're fricking retarded.

When did this happen?

Also...Charlie Mac had cupcakes too

Just playing Devil's Advocate, but the trend line of our wins and loses are both heading in the right direction from 2000-2014:

Of course, you can point out the SEC Championship games, BCS bowls, etc. Some of that is subjective and some can be more a representation of how other programs are doing. At least in Ws vs Ls, our program is still trending in the right direction.

did you guys not get the news?

LSU has played on about 4 cupcakes per year.....just like virtually every other team

if you're not playing at least 13 games, you're TERRIBLE (still 4 cupcakes)
Can you not see how that inflates a total win accomplishment some?

Oh, its not the facts I dispute, but the logical jumps you gleamed from them.

I won't go into dispute, because you clearly have chosen your side of the fence, but the word is relativity homie. We have declined to the standard we have set for ourselves, but which programs have we declined to, relatively, over hat same 7 year span?

Wasnt this in repsponse to winning a large volume of games not being impressive because the higher volume of games played? So historically speaking, this is irrelevant.

but if we are talking about the next 3-4 years, are we one of those teams? Sounds like you are assuming we will be, which will make this thread pretty pointless.

Can you refresh me on what 4 teams those were, in any given year in the past 7 years?

So besides mighty bama, which of those other 1 or 2 hit wonders are you trading the last 7 seasons for?

why should I be happy that I have more security than the guy living under the bridge when I believe I can be the best....the BEST?

Would you tell your kids to be happy that they're C or B students when you in your heart think/know they can make A's if they truly apply themselves?
Same concept & that's not how I feel (nor do a growing number of LSU fans)

You are correct, but I was trying to show the time period that spans Les and Saban. And even looking at just Les' time, the trend is from about 11 wins/year to about 9.8 wins/year. So while downward, it isn't a sharp decline and also doesn't factor in our bowl game this year.
