Kirk's Castile Soap - bought some at Family Dollar to clean some horse tack. Used another bar to shower and it knocks about the ball and/or butt funk (and don't tell me your manly marbles smell like Elisian flowers).

Body wash and deodoarant soaps cover it up - this knocks it out.

(It is used to clean horse sheaths, which ought to tell you something).

Your SO will thank you for using it.

Horse sheath cleaner might be a bit too harsh for my stuff.

You clean sheaths with it? I've always used Excalibur. I'll have to try it.

Husband swears by it for cuts on the horses. I've never really thought about tack. May need to try on my gunk covered martingale. Will need lots of conditioner after, correct?

Thanks for the suggestion, but I like my manly marble funk just fine, thank you.

It lets me know I'm alive and a man
a living, smelly man

Yeah...

Not a fun part of having a gelding. I usually try to get someone else to do it.

An accumulation of dirt and excretions called smegma builds up in the area, and must be removed.

Baby oil the sheath area one or two days prior to cleaning the sheath area. Latex gloves may be worn or bare hands cleaned with Kirk’s Castile Soap.

In the winter months, prepare two buckets of warm water - one for cleaning and one for rinsing. In summer months, one may use a hose for the rinsing step.

Place Kirk’s Coco Castile soap in the bucket of warm water. With soap in hand, insert the bar soap in the sheath and penis area of horse.

Remove hand with soap and watch as smegma, black shavings, dirt and excess are extracted from the horses insides.

Gently reach into the pouch at the end of the penis with your finger. If it is clean, you will feel only very soft tissue. If there are firm, bean-like lumps, they need to come out. If larger deposits are encountered, they also must come out.

Remove the waste gently by working it loose between your finger and your thumb. Repeat until no visible dirt remains.

yep...sounds like one of my showers alright.

When you're riding the rails with all those hobos, you need something extra-strength to take the funk off.

Is it drying to the skin? Even Dove makes my skin dry.

You should use conditioner but the soap has some oil in it. It really is great stuff, especially on muddy tack (I use it after foxhunting on a muddy day).

You need to be sure to wipe the excess soap off or it will dry out.
