I would like to order the screen off ebay and do it myself. It's a lot cheaper.

How difficult is it?

I've been procrastinating replacing mine. It looks easy on the YouTube videos though....

Replacing the entire display assembly or just the glass? If you're just doing the glass, it's not to hard, you just have to be very careful when heating up the screen so you don't burn out your digitizer. And if you're using the glue it's kind of hard to keep the site bubbles out of the screen.

I dropped my ipad2 - found a place to replace the screen for about $75. Sorry didn't mean to hijack.

It's EXTREMELY easy. I've done it 3 times. Takes less than an hour. It's all screws. No glue. Just have to plug the new screen in then reassemble.

It's not difficult but you have to be patient and not rush the glass. I tried to remove mine and thought I removed the glass properly but messed up the digitizer. There are plenty of how-tos online.

You sure you mean a Samsung Galaxy S4? The glass is glued onto the digitizer.. The hard part is being patient enough to let the glue melt so you can remove the glass properly.

You can buy the entire display+frame so all you would have to do is take the motherboard and everything else in the phone and put it on the new frame. Its much easier but more expensive. The whole thing was $250 on eBay the last time I looked, but it probably came down since then.
