Yes. But the Harris doesn't exist, so it's the best replacement.

So the committee look at the BCS standings and just flips a couple teams based on who beat who and has looked better on the year? It looks like they got it right then. I'd still be so pissed if I was a TCU fan. TCU wins by like 50 pts and falls from #3 to #6..

Exactly. That looks unfair as hell but if they had just waited until now to release the final standings instead of doing it every week, nobody would have any problem with it. The basketball selection committee doesn't release standings every week. There's no need for football to do it either. Wait until the entire body of work is done and then make your decision.

I totally agree. Just let the AP and Coaches poll rank the teams and then have the selection committee give you it's rankings in the last week of the season. Problem solved. They just need to expand to 6 or 8 teams and it would be legit.

Not only that but if you look at the coaches rankings, they were influenced by the CFP's rankings from the previous week.
