The number in itself doesn't mean much. Over 100 isn't in itself good. 106 out of 109 qualifiers had over 100 this year. Passing efficiency is better used as a comparative tool

GT Thomas: 153.7
AF Pearson: 162.5
LSU AJ: 115.3

Well, AF did have triple the amount of 1st team conference players than LSU this season...

TD/INT ratio and yards per attempt are much better for the triple option qbs. AJ would have had to throw for almost 2000 yards to match their ypa.
