It is clear to every but Miles. Unfortunately, he is the singular voice that matters, and he thinks Jennings gives us the best chance to win. He will believe this more than ever with the TAMU and ND success we will have, and now that Jennings has dominantly more starts than Harris, so we should all just accept whatever happens.

BARELY????

He had a 153.7 QB Rating with 17 TD to 5 INT
Jennings - 115.3 QB Rating with 10 TD to 7 INT

Surely you don't want to bring rushing stats into this considering he runs the triple option. That guy was recruited as a Defensive Back by everyone except GT.

GT took a DB and made him into a better QB than Jennings.

Oh yeah, he had almost 1000 yards rushing too.

Do we run a pass happy offense, or have I been watching a different team maybe?

It's not like we ask AJ do do much more than the GT QB. 4 extra attempts per game really isn't all that much.

ETA: Now the TD:INT ratio most definitely needs improvement.

Just stop.

Thread is about passing last time I checked.

But if you want to bring up their rushing stats, feel free to factor in number of attempts before you act like you proved anything.

You think LSU could beat FSU??????

A&M's offense is more potent than ND's IMO.

ND has a more experienced QB. Even though he has had some bad games ND can and will score points on LSU....Its a bowl game and the weather may be a factor.. Look at the last game we played in cold weather...123 yds of offense.... Just pointing things out that I know you don't like to here........

Isn't there some other SEC team, perhaps playing in the West that has done the same thing and been very successful with it? Name might rhyme with Paw-burn

Well his sub 50% is certainly on him and by the looks of it, we actually tried to get him going, more completions with less yards means we actually tried the short routes, he just cant hit them with consistency.

Well GT's offense is way more effective than Lsu's. The GT QB doesn't need gawdy stats for them to be good.. LSU needs AJ to be a better passer in this offense. Now if we ran the type offense that Tech does I could see his stats being what they are.......

We have a more experienced QB than A&M, how's that working out?

Hear. And I never said they wouldn't. I just think we'll score a good bit more.

The second half against Wisky and A&M game we tried to get Jennings going. Every other game we kept hitting ourselves in the nuts hoping it would eventually feel good

This cant all be put on Jennings.

Hell no.

If you have 3 quarterbacks, and the best one completes < 50% of his passes throughout the season, that's all on the freaking corch. ALL DAY LONG!

You're either doing a terrible job of coaching or a terrible job recruiting. This is all on the coaching staff.

We choose to run with our running backs and don't ask our QB to do that. We also don't ask our QB to sling it everywhere. Their passing stats are extremely similar, so it's silly to say their guy was good and ours wasn't.

Experienced QB's generally play better than first year starters. Let's see how we do next year before we act like it's a system problem.

Johnny Manziel, Jameis Winston, Blake Sims, JT Barrett (off the top of my head) say hi.

You're right. We ask him to do much much less when you factor in the running game as well.
