My Guilty Pleasure game is coming back, this time around I'm buying it on day one!!!
So Pumped!!
Original Game Trailer
Making of Mirror's Edge 2 - With Gameplay and Updated Combat
(combat looks like it's getting a MASSIVE overhaul, which was my only complaint about the first one!)
Still Alive Music Video... Miskovsky is wearing read, does that mean she's free game?!
There are seriously not enough dancing bananas on this earth to signify the joy I feel, OMG!

I have the first one on Steam and should give it another go. I tried it when it first came out on 360 and it couldn't grab me.

Yeah I have never played this game, but it definitely intrigues me. Should I pick it up?

heck yeah, it's actually a pretty quick game, should be dirt cheap no matter where you find it... it's really cool. There are points of the game (combat for instance) that could be better, but it's an experience you will get nowhere else, and really fun.
(my biggest gripe on combat is that you have this character that can use the wall as an extension tool, jump building, climb anywhere... yet it still takes like 10 hits to knock someone out, it appears they are fixing this in the 2nd game, and basically turning her body into a "bullet" if you will, very exciting)

Oh, god. it looks so beautiful. The first one was absolutely gorgeous and I was so pumped when they announced the sequel. Can't wait for that release day.

yeah, that was pretty much... like... everyone's complaint about the first one - did you watch the "making of" link in the OP? It talks about how they are revamping the combat a bit, and shows it even... needless to say I was full on for it

Still pumped! shameless bump!

OH GOD! OH GOD! YESSSSS!
I love ME. The world was beautiful. Sharp lines, bright colors, and beautiful scenery.
People complained about the lack of combat, but it never was a focus of the game. If you wall ran and attacked people on the move, stole their weapons, etc., you could take people out in a 1-2 hits.

The music and vivid use of color makes it a trip. Definitely an underrated game.

I think the biggest complaint was more of what I said, that if you ever felt like you were forced to be in combat... combat just didn't move as smoothly as the actual parkor did - in the 3rd video in the OP you can see they are changing that, which makes me extremely happy.

I want to play ME now. I remember that scene where you slide down the glass of the skyscraper. Such awesome music and visuals. That was my favorite level.
