Why would he leave Wazzu for UH? I don't see the motivation.

More fertile recruiting ground and if he's successful, the TT people will lose their shite

Yeah, maybe. I wonder if UH can offer him a comparable salary.

I think UH to Big 12 has a good chance. Would make the job even better.

I thought Washington St was very close to his home town. I think he grew up near Wy. I seen a piece on ESPN one day that he close to home and he was very happy. I guessed that changed.

Not $2.75 million. And then there's a buyout. I don't see UH coming too close. Maybe $2 million, but the athletic department isn't exactly rolling in dough.

But to each his own. What Leach might value in a job may not be what other people value in a job. This has been rumored for a while, btw. Dude has always been unique to say the least.

Back in Texas where he knows he can get the talent he needs to run his offense. Plus easier to get 9-10 win seasons when not playing USC, UCLA, Oregon, Arizona, etc...

No brainer move by Leach if he can IMO. Every high school in Texas runs his system, and he has the recruiting ties. He also hits the jackpot if they jump up to the Big 12.
