How Fast Does the Big 12 Expand???

This just confirms that the committee says that conference championships matter and that the Big 12 needs to get back to 12 teams and have a championship game. Cincinnati, BYU, Colorado St and Memphis could be the real winners today.

They need to either expand or not rely on the CFB playoff rankings to determine their champion. Should've claimed Baylor as champ with a win against KSU and they would probably have them in there.

I'm sure they will, but this happened because nobody gives a shite about baylor or TCU. There's a ton of money/ratings involved here. This doesn't happen to OU or UT.

Most of these teams are horrible additions.
BYU can't just join to the Big 12 either with the amount of games that have in place. They add the Utah market and no recruiting grounds.
Memphis is eternal garbage at football.
Colorado St doesn't add much and they just lost their coach to Florida.
Cinci is the only decent choice.

If you read into Long's answers, he's saying the B12 setup is a huge impact.

I'm with him. If they didn't want to expand before you bet your arse they're rethinking that stance.

Tie breakers are for bowl tie-ins you will still have co-champions

Seriously, at the very least, Cincinnati should be getting that invite today. The other schools are up for debate, but Cincy should be jumping for joy.

They are talking about the Big 12 needs a championship game on ESPN, but don't you have to have 12 for that to happen?
