So, was Les's offense indicted or vindicated by this weekend's action?

If Arizona proves the wisdom of his conservative approach, then Ohio State does exactly the opposite.

Which is it? Is it j'accuse or excused?

See, Bama-2014. Hurry-up, shotgun, throw it all over the place, bubble screens, spread the field and run, etc.

But oh, that is a gimmick offense that can't work in the SEC, amirite?

One thing I'm sure of after watching this weekend: Lane Kiffin >>>>>> Cam Cameron.

Anything but a fullback dive is a gimmick, bro. We play grown man football here.

Arizona played Oregon, so I would think that game favors a better offense.

You think Lane Kiffin would put up the same numbers with Jennings instead of Sims? lol

but, but....Drew Brees! and Phillip Rivers! and the Ravens won Super Bowl the year he was fired during the regular season! Even Saban sucked with the Dolphins and everybody sucks at Indiana! CCC is a QB GURU. GOO-ROO

The really good offenses have abolished the fullback except for change of pace... just as I suggested last week that we should do.

There was nothing conservative about trusting his third string quarterback to make plays.

If you look at the games involving the top 6 teams that are competing for the playoffs, the lowest score by the winning team was 37 points. Gary Patterson and Nick Saban are defensive-minded coaches who recognized that high-powered offenses are needed to win games these days. It is time that Miles and Cameron wake up too!

Have you seen our offensive rankings with Les at the helm? We cannot throw a forward pass............again. Our coach is an offensive coach and we are atrocious on that side of the ball and recruit QB's who don't fit our system. Vindicated offensively? Please. But I guess I'm a Nega Tiger and shouldn't expect better, how was that SEC Championship game for the third year in a row?

Sims was fricking terrible to start the season..... But magically he improved as the season progressed. That's the difference in other teams and LSU. The QBs don't improve while they're here. Don't even mention mettenberger because he didn't start his career at LSU and is a NFL starting QB mid way through his rookie season.
