If Henry has the size OLB no question because we need them.

Stanford

Yale

If I was this kid I would go to Stanford or Yale for the value of the education. Stanford seems better because Eric is out there at least for the near future.

Yes because he should base his entire college career on somewhere his brother may not be in the near future.

Congrats to Justin He looked pretty impressive at The Opening IIRC. Glad to see he didn't get a really late offer.

I'm with you there...regardless of my Fandom for LSU, if my kid has an offer from Stanford, I'm pushing him as hard as I could to go to California

Usually I'm under the impression that LSU offers in-state guys towards the end of the process cuz they missed on a higher rated target elsewhere... I wonder if this is the case, and if so..who?

Eric Reid was not a difference maker until his sophomore season. I'm not sure he played at all his freshman year. I always remembered seeing him on the sideline and thinking that guy looks like a damn linebacker lol. Get him on the field.

Eric Reid was all over the field the back half of his freshman year.

By the bowl game in 10 he, tyrann, and Simon were all playing a ton.

Henry didn't bolt on his own. He was gently pushed out and has grade issues in play as well. Always felt LB was his best fit. Has good instincts but his body can't do what his instincts tell him he should at S

he started the last few games in place of Brandon Taylor after BT hurt his foot in the Bama game. he came in and almost immediately blew up a Bama screen. pretty sure he got a pick vs A&M in the Cotton as well. he was very much a difference maker back then.

it really depends. If he's an intelligent kid with his head on right, I'll push him there.

I say this because an intelligent kid can go into Stanford and still get a job after school with the advantage of a Stanford degree. An unintelligent kid will still be unintelligent and that degree will be worthless.

It wouldn't be wise to make a 4 year decision based on his brother's job. Especially being that the NFL shuffles players around like crazy nowadays.

Glad he got an offer, exactly the kind of player and student you want.

Well it's not like it isn't also a top academic school in the country and a PAC 12 contender

That's just what I've been told by a family friend of theirs (it's weird having a "source" on here, I've never had one of these before ). But again this conversation I had was a couple months ago and before LSU offered

Would be nice to see Reid on an LSU jersey again
