Police strike?

I would be pissed off if I was a cop now. Especially in a high crime area. It's a tough job for little money. Now they have to put up with this shite. At what point do they just all say frick it and frick yall. See how you like your life with no police for the next two weeks!! fricking criminals

No kidding. Starting pay for an officer in many places is above what the average college grad starts with these days.

Yes, yes they are. At least in the same percentage as the general population. I don't give a shite about Mike Brown. but stop popping 12 year old kids (Cleveland), shooting unarmed civilians during traffic stops (s. carolina), executing family pets (everywhere), destroying video evidence (denver), and roughing people up for ticketable misdemeanors, and maybe people will stop bitching.
Oh...and JUST MAYBE hold them as accountable as a civilian would be for a similar offense.

If they were smart, they would start throwing their support towards conservatives. But they are not smart, and their union leaders will continue to take their dues and support liberals.

I know so many of you dont like police but a strike would be the last thing you honestly want. Having no working police would mean people could do anything and whatever they wanted with very little consequence. It would be like the Wild West

Very few of these protesters and news commentators telling the police how they should do their jobs would ever put their life on the line everyday at work dealing with the crap they put up with. 95% of these people are out there because of Mike Brown and now the Fat guy with asthma. Nothing will make them happy but an all black police force and jury.

Most police unions have no strike provisions in their contracts.
