I've been seeing post by a number of guys on here that Evans needs to go (I'm not one of them) and it got me to thinking what we could get of him. I'm betting there would be a lot of interest out there for a guy who can go to the hoop like Evans can.

Just for the record, I think Evans will settle down and become more team oriented. The Thunder had the same problem with Westbrook and that team has been successful.

I don't know. I don't think its particularly high. The good thing is his contract isn't particularly long and it descends in value each year. New salary cap figures could make it a bit of a bargain.

I think you're looking at getting him to a team where he would be a role player, and they would send us 2 "adequate" players (basically breaking up the contract into two depth players).

The problem with Evans trade value is some of the teams who could probably use him like the Lakers and Knicks, are trying to maximize cap space for next season. They also don't have many assets to trade. Gyno came up with a good one for Milwaukee the other day, Tyreke for Illyasova, Dudley and Henson. I'm not sure if they'd give you all 3, but just Illyasova and Dudley isn't terrible because Illyasova lets you trade Ryno for a SF and Dudley is a wing shooter we could use.

If we were just looking to dump, maybe the Pacers? They have expirings like Scola and Chris Copeland, and maybe Ian Mahinmi for Ajinca swap also thrown in there? Its terrible value, but like I said, it would be a salary dump, and Copeland could be somewhat useful for us this year.

We won't salary dump him unless it's near the trade deadline and we're under .500 and Loomis is the interim GM.

I've been playing around on Trade Machine and it is just really hard to gauge his value.

Rivers and Tyreke (and Russ Smith?) to Minny for Kevin Martin/Corey Brewer? Minny giving up too much value?

Would he fit in OKC (I seriously doubt it)?

Can you get the Clippers looking to shed some salary?

I'm having a really, really hard time figuring out his value. To me, he's not very valuable at all. I have a hard time seeing what other teams would think.

I think he could IF OKC thinks Reggie Jackson is going to get a crazy contract. We know they are price sensitive, and a declining Tyreke deal > Reggie Jackson starting at $11 and increasing. They could give us Perkins and someone like Lamb and then trade Jackson.

Yeah I was thinking Lamb or Perry Jones would be likely targets + Perk. Maybe give them Withey or Ajinca to back up Steven Adams.

Perk expires, we have a Lamb or Jones on the roster to grow.

AD said they've been giving Reke a hard time about blowing layups, they need to give him a hard time about not passing the ball. He's down to 5.9 assists per game, I'm pretty sure he was over 7 earlier in the year.

He's shooting .416 from 2. I mean he can't go thru the season shooting that bad. If Tyreke starts shooting what he shot last year (.461) we're hard to beat. I know he's frustrating to watch when he's off, but he's such a mismatch that I'm willing to give him some time to start shooting better. I know I'm in the minority.

I was just on basketball reference, I think his ast/game was at 5.0 last year. LINK

I just don't think, even when he's playing well, he's a fit on this team. This team needs two shooters on the wing.

Jrue/Shooter/Shooter/AD/Asik

Bench Scorer/Bench Pure Passer/Bench Big

That's a solid and smartly put together team.

Spacing in the starting lineup and defense. Guy that can run the second unit and another that can provide a spark off the bench.

I'm not gonna argue with that. Tbh, I'm just really numb to it all.
The coaching staff and GM'ing has had me that way for a while.

Semi related. I just read Korver is on a 4 year, 24 million deal. That's depressing.

I agree at this point, I think we should let things lay and see if this team gels a little more before we start looking to move Reke.

Don't think Minnesota wants a ball dominant guard when Rubio comes back.

OKC is a no fit.

Clippers need shooters/spacers, not slashers.

Don't see it happening under Monty. I think the pieces we have can be better, but we're still a little misfit.

He could be valuable to a team who needs someone to run their second unit, and that team would need to give us a shooter in exchange. Might work in a three-way deal or something, I don't know. I don't know who would be ideal AND realistic for us in his place.

What's Rondo's trade value?

Celtics might laugh, but Evans/Anderson for Rondo/Green works as far as salaries are concerned. We get pass first guard and a competent SF. Jrue plays off ball.

Rondo/Holiday/Green/AD/Asik

Bench still blows, but that's a balanced starting 5.
