I don't give a shite what anyone does in the NFL when I'm trying to determine whether or not they were a bust in college. If this were a thread about draft picks your idiotic ramblings may have some merit. But we're talking about recruits.

He was pegged as the next reggie bush. He didn't sniff reggie's career in college or pro. Was he a decent rb at the college level? yes. was he a difference maker warranting heisman consideration, not hardly.

Don't talk to me about idiotic ramblings, be precise Jerk. For starters, no one specified whether we were only talking about him being a college bust or also a pro bust. Usually when you talk about a player being a bust, and you include draft status, whether the guy is still on a team and making money from NFL, you can be talking Pro level as well. Joe was not a college bust, he had an ok career at USC. He was/is a clear bust in the Pros.

Well, this is a recruiting board.

You are an idiot if you think him busting in the NFL means LSU couldn't have used him. That means tha LSU's list of busts include Matt Mauk, Rohan Davey, Joseph Addai, Josh Reed, Chad Lavalais, Glenn Dorsey, etc. Go ask Washington State if Leif was a bust to them.. What they do in the NFL has nothing to do with whether or not they're a bust to LSU or any college. Just getting to the NFL usually means they didn't bust in college dip shite.

Once again a-hole, I was talking on pro level since draft status, whether he was still on a team, and making money was brought into the conversation. He was a decent college player, and certainly LSU could have used him at college level. NFL wise he was/ is a bust.

He is in the NFL despite doing nothing in college. He was wasted.

Not wasted and I haven't kept up with OBSCURE pro players but the Eagles cut RS and he ended up with Tampa Bay?...one of the worst teams in the NFL. And another poster says he is a special teams player. Thank goodness you don't talent evaluate for LSU. The guy ended up being no better than a 3* prospects and should have been rated that way out of HS. He had speed just like literally hundreds of others players on FBS rosters.

Given what was available at the time (camps, stats, film) Russell Shepard was every bit of a five star.

I doubt Joe McKnight can afford a $1M toilet or a $100K bottle of champagne
Are you serious? It wouldnt be a smart buy but he could afford it for sure

Made 2.2 million with Jets, with 500k signing bonus, and made 675k this year with the Chiefs. The Champagne is an easy buy, the 1 million dollar toilet might take some liquidating but he could make it happen

I wouldn't mind seeing what it feels like to liquidate into a $1MM toilet.

He went as far as to show him tapes etc

So Les showed him videos of how to dial Reggie Bush's cell phone?

He should have told him he would be the next Deon Sanders or some other great CB. CB was much more a natural position for him and he would probably still be in the NFL if he would have been recruited as a CB.
