I am very surprised that no one has hired him yet.
Is he wanting the Michigan job as an F U to Ohio State?

He knows how to win (except in BCS games), so why isn't he being hired or at least linked to more jobs than just Nebraska (who didn't even hire him)?

You do realize that Jim Tressel's record in BCS bowl games is 5-3 right?

Number of posts on this claim his exit at OSU has a 5 - 7 year exclusion on coaching anywhere else. If true, he has to wait for that to finish. NCAA SHOW CAUSE PENALTY EXPLANATION LINK

1-3 in his last 4 (since Arkansas doesn't count)

And did not realize he couldn't coach until 2017 season

Yep....I really doubt if he'll ever coach again.

Tressel said that he was retired from coaching when he became President of Youngstown State University. I think it would look bad for Tressel to leave that post so soon (7 months) since he would never get a similar position afterwards (no doctorate).

Two of those losses were blowouts in title games which is what the poster likely was referencing. Also, he's one abortion of a penalty call away from being 0-3. Sorry Senator, you aren't that good.

I'd laugh my arse off if Tressel coaches at Michigan. He knows how to win at Michigan.

The Sweater is a complete fraud morally/ethically, going back to his earlier days. O.State is the second straight program he's gotten on probation. Several magazine articles about all that he's done over the yrs, one in Sports Illustrated in particular went into great detail.
